When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your expertise and skills to deliver customer excellence.

You will lead, direct, and optimize your local customer care team (CCL) to continuously provide customer excellence and sustainable growth across your scope of responsibility. Utilizing your strong forwarding and market knowledge, you will drive service improvement activities to ensure customer satisfaction with our products, services, and features.

How you create impact

You will achieve this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on the following key objectives:

  • Enhancing customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation through high service quality, close collaboration with operational and commercial stakeholders, and air logistics management to optimize the customer experience.
  • Owning, monitoring, and driving all sales activities.
  • Ensuring best-in-class customer onboarding.
  • Continuously improving processes and controls to ensure complete and accurate customer contact data, service data, and system updates, including customer reporting for SME customers.
  • Actively managing interfaces and information exchange with your team and other stakeholders to ensure effective shipment management.
  • Prioritizing customer complaint management to deliver consistently against the customer promise.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operational Care Center (OCC) and Revenue Care Center (RCC) to enhance the customer experience.
  • Achieving all financial targets and strategic objectives of your CCL.

  • Operational experience and knowledge in air freight export within the healthcare sector.
  • Experience working with carriers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, policies, and quality control.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • At least 5 years of experience in customer care with an operational background.
