Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer & Architect to design, build, and maintain end-to-end solutions for high-traffic applications. You will own backend architecture, lead front-end integration efforts, and drive critical API and infrastructure initiatives—ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability at every layer.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Backend Development

  • Architect and implement a Node.js/Express backend for multiple applications.
  • Define and enforce RESTful API contracts consumed by various front-end clients.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, indexing, and queries for PostgreSQL to ensure high availability.
  • Document the design and decisions.

Front-End Integration Leadership

  • Partner with React teams to integrate APIs into dynamic UI components and optimize data flows.
  • Troubleshoot integration challenges, guide on state management, and promote responsive design best practices.

Code Quality & Collaboration

  • Write clean, modular, and testable code; enforce standards through code reviews and automated tooling.
  • Evangelize best practices for architecture, testing, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience

Languages & Frameworks

  • Expert in Node.js and Express
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js

Databases & Data

  • Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, complex queries)
  • Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases

Automation & Messaging

  • Cron jobs, scheduling libraries, or task queues
  • RabbitMQ or equivalent message brokers

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to production-ready solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience architecting multi-tenant e-commerce platforms
  • Background in scalable ETL and data-pipeline design
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) for managed services
