Dawn Precision Engineering designs, develops, and manufactures a wide range of technologically advanced dies, molds, machining, and casting facilities with high-tensile stamping parts for our valuable customers. We are equipped with a Design & Development department that utilizes modern high-end CAD/CAM and Simulation Software. Our facilities also include a fully equipped Tool Shop with numerous advanced NC and CNC DMG machines, as well as a Press shop and casting facility.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Specialist, located in Karāchi. The role involves daily tasks such as creating detailed technical drawings, developing CAD models, and ensuring adherence to CAD standards. The specialist will also work on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in 3D design
  • Proficiency in Creo Parametric
  • Working knowledge of Auto Form for simulation
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong technical drawing and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office for reports and technical presentations
  • Hands-on experience with QC/QA documentation and practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop precise 3D models and technical drawings
  • Design complex die and mold components for manufacturing
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate with CNC programming and QC/QA teams
  • Ensure design quality and manufacturability
  • Maintain updated design records and project files
