Health Specialist Job Summary
">This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Health Specialist to join our team in Pakistan. As a key member of the HIV/AIDS program, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and operational support to government counterparts, NGOs, and other partners.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, with experience in programming, planning, and management of HIV/AIDS initiatives. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
">In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of HIV/AIDS programs, focusing on Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT), pediatric HIV care, and community-based programs. You will also participate in discussions with national partners and stakeholders to promote HIV-related issues.
">Key responsibilities will include formulating strategies, providing technical guidance, and supporting capacity building initiatives. You will also assess and share best practices, and organize and implement training programs to enhance the competencies of UNICEF staff, government officials, and partners.
