Role 1: Head of Supply Chain - Cotton & Yarn
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies for cotton and yarn sourcing, purchasing. procurement, selling and distribution.
2. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers.
3. Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Monitor and improve the supply chain performance, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
5. Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals.
6. Always focus to have a demand and supply process.
7. In addition, the candidate, will be given preference to will be having cotton & yarn export experience and should have clients in hand.
8. Develop and manage department budgets and forecasts.
9. Report supply chain performance to senior management and recommend improvements.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Must have experience in the cotton and yarn industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
3. 10 to 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
4. Strong understanding of cotton and yarn, storage, and distribution processes.
5. Proven leadership and team management experience.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to optimize and streamline supply chain operations.
Role 2: Head of Coal Trading
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive coal trading strategies, covering procurement, sales, logistics, and distribution (both local and imported).
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with coal suppliers, international traders, shipping companies, and local buyers.
3. Monitor coal market trends to identify trading opportunities and manage pricing risks.
4. Ensure full compliance with relevant legal, environmental, and safety regulations for coal handling and transport.
5. Oversee the full trading cycle including negotiations, contracts, logistics, and timely deliveries.
6. Manage demand and supply planning to ensure consistent availability of coal for operations.
7. Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on coal sourcing, trading, and logistics.
8. Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in coal export and an active client base.
9. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management.
10. Recommend strategic improvements based on trading performance and market analysis.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Strong background in coal trading with in-depth knowledge of international and local coal markets.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mining, or a related field.
3. 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within coal trading.
4. Proven experience in handling coal imports, distribution, and operations.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on performance and efficiency.
7. Ability to make informed trading decisions in a dynamic market environment.
Role 3: Head of Corn Trading Division
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute trading strategies for corn procurement, sales, and distribution across local and international markets.
2. Build strong relationships with corn producers, traders, suppliers, and buyers to ensure a reliable and profitable supply chain.
3. Monitor global and domestic corn market trends to identify trading opportunities and manage price risk.
4. Ensure all trading operations comply with relevant legal, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
5. Oversee logistics and storage operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
6. Manage demand and supply planning to ensure product availability based on market and client needs.
7. Lead and mentor a team of professionals in procurement, trading, and logistics functions.
8. Preference will be given to candidates with export/import experience and an existing client portfolio in the corn industry.
9. Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and trading performance reports.
10. Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management on market performance and business opportunities.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Proven experience in the corn or grain trading industry with strong market knowledge.
2. Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
3. 10 to 15 years of experience in trading, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
4. Solid understanding of local and international grain markets, logistics, and regulatory frameworks.
5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, especially under market pressure.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
7. Ability to lead and scale trading operations with a focus on profitability and compliance.
