We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounting and Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance within a dynamic, fast-paced service-based industry. This role involves close coordination with internal teams, clients, and external auditors to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  3. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
  4. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  5. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
  6. Coordinate with internal departments and external clients for invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  7. Assist in audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Lead and mentor junior finance and accounting team members.
  10. Collaborate with client teams on finance-related process transitions, knowledge transfers, or new project setups.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, CA, CMA finalists or part-qualified preferred).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a BPO or service-based environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and strong MS Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes in outsourcing/shared services models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
