Role Description:
Virtual Dive Studios is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will drive business growth by managing inbound leads, expanding our client base through Upwork and Fiverr platforms, and nurturing professional relationships. You will play a key role in lead generation, market research, CRM management, email marketing campaigns, and client communication to secure partnerships and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inbound queries through various platforms and company channels.
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms.
- Perform detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems for tracking leads, opportunities, and client communications.
- Craft professional email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and close deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business development initiatives.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and client acquisition channels.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and provide weekly business development reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on Upwork, Fiverr, and managing freelance marketplace profiles.
- Strong experience in handling inbound queries professionally and promptly.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CRM tools (such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Custom Build).
- Strong background in professional email marketing and client outreach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and develop actionable strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
- Knowledge of the digital content creation industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in proposal writing and bid management on Upwork/Fiverr.
- Ability to manage and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, design, game development, AR/VR, or 3D content services is a bonus.
