Role :

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lahore for a HIPAA and Privacy Manager. The HIPAA and Privacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, developing privacy policies, addressing privacy issues, and maintaining data privacy. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and auditing compliance, providing training and guidance on privacy policies, and responding to data privacy incidents. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure that all privacy-related obligations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HIPAA compliance and data privacy programs across the organization.
  • Monitor regulatory changes in HIPAA, HITECH, and other data privacy laws, and update policies and training programs accordingly.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits to evaluate HIPAA compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate privacy breaches, document findings, and lead mitigation and corrective action processes.
  • Train employees on HIPAA, data protection best practices, and internal privacy policies.
  • Respond to the client inquiries regarding privacy practices and data handling.
  • Act as the main liaison for external audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries related to privacy compliance.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in HIPAA compliance, privacy management, or healthcare regulatory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security Rules, HITECH, and healthcare data governance.
  • Excellent English communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Certification in HIPAA compliance, CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance), or similar is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement Privacy Policies
  • Strong understanding of Data Privacy principles and practices
  • Ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams
