We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the design, development, and management of data pipelines, orchestration, and cloud operations for all data initiatives at Revmatics.ai. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data across platforms, with a strong focus on both traditional analytics and our AI-driven data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, cloud platforms, and machine learning operations, and will bring strong leadership and technical expertise to help scale our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based data solutions and data pipelines to support analytics and AI applications.
  2. Cloud Infrastructure: Engineer and manage cloud-based data infrastructure, primarily within Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
  3. Data Pipelines: Build and manage proprietary data pipelines from various sources, ensuring data quality, scalability, and efficiency.
  4. Machine Learning Operations (MLOps): Oversee data ingestion, monitoring, and serving for machine learning models.
  5. CI/CD Automation: Implement and manage automated pipelines for fast deployment of data solutions.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to ensure data accessibility and accuracy.
  7. Cloud Data Warehousing: Administer and optimize cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake for real-time and batch processing.
  8. Vendor Management: Manage integrations with third-party software vendors and data providers.
  9. Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  10. Innovation: Identify new technologies and processes to improve data infrastructure and business outcomes.
  11. Product Lifecycle: Contribute from conceptualization to deployment and scaling of data products.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years in Data and Cloud Engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  2. Strong experience with cloud architecture, preferably GCP; familiarity with AWS or Azure is advantageous.
  3. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, ETL, and automation.
  4. Experience with Cloud Data Warehousing solutions like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake, and managing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  5. Understanding of MLOps, including data ingestion, monitoring, and serving ML models.
  6. Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for data products.
  7. Hands-on experience with software platform architecture, engineering, and administration.
  8. Ability to manage third-party vendors and data integrations aligned with business goals.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach in ambiguous environments.
  10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an emphasis on cross-team collaboration.
  11. Passion for innovation and willingness to tackle complex challenges, including experience with third-party APIs like Clickstream, Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.
