About The Role
The Director of Quality Assurance will lead QA efforts and ensure the high quality of healthcare software products. The role demands a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement, including test planning, execution, and problem-solving. The Director will grow, manage, and mentor the QA team, while also engaging in key testing activities and driving process improvements. The Director will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of the software, especially in relation to patient safety and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Strategic QA Leadership: Develop and execute QA strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on Testing: Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts, and participate in both manual and automated testing.
- QA Team Management: Build and manage a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship and performance management.
- Compliance & Regulatory: Ensuring software compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining knowledge of HIPAA and FDA regulations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Working with cross-functional teams and communicating QA results to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance QA processes, driving a culture of quality, and staying updated on industry best practices.
- Defect Analysis: Participating in defect analysis and root cause investigations, and working with development to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Cypress) and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in writing test plans, test cases, and executing tests.
- Knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with healthcare IT systems.
- Experience with healthcare staff operations and clinical workflows.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments and tools.
Additional Information
The expected base pay for this role will be between 800,000 PKR to 900,000 PKR at the commencement of employment.
