We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined IT Officer (Networks) to join our IT Department in Islamabad. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across our restaurant network and Head Office. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations, supporting our Point of Sales (POS) business processes, and contributing to our technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary technical resource, handling user complaints, installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals (printers, scanners).
  • Manage a centralized help desk to facilitate information exchange and advise users, implementing solutions or coordinating with outsource providers.
  • Assist in managing network infrastructure and peripherals, including cabling and troubleshooting network problems.
  • Assist with the planning, design, research, and acquisition of new hardware/software systems. Instruct staff on standard business software and ERP systems.
  • Provide recommendations for hardware and software acquisitions, assisting users in assessing needs and justifying purchases.
  • Be curious in learning and confident in supporting Point of Sales business processes in ongoing operations.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (BCS/BS).

Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in similar IT support or network roles.

Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, MCSA, Juniper Certified.

  • In-depth knowledge of Networking, Hardware, and Software.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various users and provide clear instructions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stress effectively in a busy environment.
  • Capable of working effectively both within a team and independently.
  • Punctual, disciplined , curious, and possessing a "CAN DO" attitude.
