
Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Sales Development Representative (US or Neutral Accent) to join our U.S. based client's trucking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to potential drivers, assessing their suitability based on set qualification criteria, and presenting appropriate job opportunities. In addition to recruiting, this role plays a critical part in building lasting relationships with our existing drivers to ensure their satisfaction, engagement, and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential driver candidates and screen them against hiring criteria.
- Effectively communicate job roles, benefits, and expectations to qualified candidates.
- Maintain regular contact with active drivers to support their needs and foster a positive working relationship.
- Coordinate interviews and assist in the onboarding process when needed.
- Track interactions, feedback, and driver status updates using internal systems or CRM tools.
- Address driver concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining driver engagement through regular check-ins and proactive follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Neutral or U.S. accent is essential due to frequent interactions with truck drivers across different regions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills; experience with CRM or recruitment platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience in trucking, transportation, or driver recruiting is an advantage, though not required.
