IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The role is responsible for managing fixed asset processes, including CWIP extraction and analysis, asset capitalization, disposals, reconciliations, and related financial reporting. It involves coordinating with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely capitalization for both network and non-network assets, creating cost centers and AUCs as required, and maintaining compliance with approvals and audit requirements. The position also supports asset-related audits, insurance claim assessments, and CAPEX analysis to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational policies.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Extract, analyze, and coordinate CWIP data for asset class-wise capitalization against PACs approved by management, for both network and non-network assets.
  • Distribute capitalized amounts and handle asset-level distribution of single-line entries due to system limitations, as per CFO-approved PACs.
  • Dispose assets in FICO & NLM after approvals (including laptops, vehicles, etc.) and manage fixed asset statements for outgoing employees.
  • Create AUCs based on approved USM tickets and cost centers as required by PMO and payment teams.
  • Reconcile PAC data with physical NLM data.
  • Identify insurance-claimable/non-claimable assets and process disposals accordingly in the relevant GL.
  • Conduct internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
  • Prepare capital commitment reports against open POs (local and offshore), including PO value, delivery status, outstanding items, and in-process items.
  • Analyze depreciation expenses, comparing budget vs. CAPEX, and perform other assigned fixed asset–related tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • ACCA/ICMA Inter/CA Inter/MBA Finance/MCOM from recognized university.
