We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with proven expertise in Huawei (HCIP) and Cisco (CCNA) technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise networks. This role demands hands-on experience in managing routers, switches, firewalls, and network management systems across multi-vendor environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network integrity, availability, and security, while continuously optimizing performance and resolving any connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Huawei and Cisco network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, latency, or configuration.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on network infrastructure.
  • Provide first and second-level support for network-related incidents and service requests.
  • Assist in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for WAN and ISP issues.
  • Ensure network security compliance by applying policies, VLAN configurations, and access control.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and network backup solutions.
  • Train and support junior IT staff or end-users on basic networking practices when necessary.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., HCIA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
  • Practical experience with Huawei and Cisco networking equipment and CLI.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and supporting LAN/WAN/VPN networks.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, trunking).
  • Familiarity with NAT, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, and basic firewall configuration.
  • Basic understanding of network security principles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark).
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to resolve technical issues.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
