Applications are invited for the following teaching and non-teaching positions for GC University, Faisalabad, Layyah Campus, from Pakistani Nationals on lump sum pay package for teaching faculty and Temporary likely to become permanent for Non-teaching faculty. The candidates must meet the qualifications / experience as detailed below.

Teaching Positions on Contract Basis

Lecturer on contract basis for the period of five years (Consolidated Salary Rs. 35,000/month). Pay package will be negotiable for suitable candidates having higher qualification & experience etc.

Eligibility Conditions for the posts Lecturer in all disciplines excluding Engineering, Information Technology, and Computer Science

Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Minimum Qualification:

• First Class Master's Degree under Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under Semester System OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
• Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer to the candidate holding a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
• Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd Division in the Master's Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M. Phil/ PhD or equivalent degree with 18 years of education could be considered.

Experience: No experience required.

Eligibility Conditions for the post of Lecturer in the disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering

Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree/ B.Sc.(Engr.) (3:00/4:00 in semester system and 60% & above in annual system) in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/ Institution.
Experience: No experience required.

Non-Teaching Positions

1. Campus Director (01 Post)
   (BPS-19 OR on Contract with negotiable pay package)
   Qualification & Experience:
   • Criteria equal to Associate Professor as defined by HEC.
   • Retired Professor with age not more than 61 years.
2. Assistant Registrar (BPS-17) (01 Post)
   Qualification & Experience: MA/MSc, preference will be given to those who have reasonable experience of computer programming and who have good knowledge of important software packages.
   Age Limit: 24-35 Years.
3. Assistant Controller of Examinations (BPS-17) (01 Post)
   Qualification & Experience: MA/MSc with a comprehensive knowledge of computer programming and software.
   Age Limit: 24-35 Years.

Instructions

• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and shall be submitted with demand draft of Rs. 2500/- for Campus Director and Rs. 2000/- for Lecturer, Assistant Registrar (BPS-17) and Assistant Controller of Examinations (BPS-17) in favour of Treasurer, GC University, Faisalabad. However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelop of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The dully filled in application form must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae.
• The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, accompanied by recent Curriculum Vitae along with attested copies of degrees / testimonials and experience certificates.
• Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
• The University reserves the rights not to consider any application or fill the post without giving any reason.
• The applications are required on prescribed form in triplicate.
• The candidate already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
• Complete applications must reach the Recruitment Cell, Government College University, Faisalabad by mail not later than 04-June-2015.

Note:

• Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
• The candidate having teaching experience in affiliated colleges will be given age relaxation up to five years.
• Preference will be given to highly qualified candidates.
• Preference will also be given to the candidates who are residing at Layyah/Surrounding areas.
• The University and Al-Abbas Bhatti Trust Layyah, will not be responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier agency/Post office/Telephonic message.
• No TA/DA is admissible when called for interview.
• The selectees (Teaching Faculty) will be the employees of the Al-Abbas Bhatti Trust, Layyah, for all financial and other purposes under supervision of Government College University Faisalabad. However, the Campus Director, Assistant Registrar and Assistant Controller of Examinations shall be the employees of the University in all respects and meant for Sub-Campus Layyah.
