1- Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Mode of Appointment: Three (03) Years on Contract, Not Extendable
Age: 40-50 Years (Age Relaxation: As per Government Rules)
Qualification:

  • Ph.D in any discipline from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
  • Eight years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization.
  • OR MS or M.Phil in any discipline or 18 years education from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
  • Ten years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization.
  • OR MA or MSc in any discipline or 16 years education at least 2nd division from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
  • Twelve years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization.
2- Teaching Assistant (BPS-16) For University Community College

(Temporary likely to become permanent)
Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Qualification & Experience: MA / M.Sc (1st division) from a recognized university in case of a Teaching Assistant.

3- Assistant (BPS-16)

No of Positions: 10 (Temporary likely to become permanent)
Age Limit: 18-25 Years
Qualification & Experience: Graduate (2nd Division) from a recognized University. Preference will be given to those who have knowledge of word processing and typing.

Instructions
  • The latest prescribed Application & Bio-data Form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and should be submitted in the Recruitment Cell, with demand draft as per following Sr.

  • 1. Controller of Examinations BPS-20: Rs. 3000/-
  • 2. BPS-16: Rs. 1000/- in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad.

However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelope of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. Duly filled in application form must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, three recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).

  • The applicants having foreign degree(s) must attach HEC equivalence certificate with the Application Form.
  • Applicants working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies (Including GCUF Employees) must apply through proper channel along with NOC and attach Service Certificate(s) issued from their Controlling Authority / Head of Institution/ Organizations by due date, otherwise their Applications shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
  • Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
  • The condition of age (For the positions of Teaching Assistants and Assistants) can be relaxed as per policy of the University.
  • The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application Form with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
  • The candidate already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date (Proforma of Departmental Permission Certificate is attached with the Job Application Form).
  • Incomplete applications or those received after due date will not be entertained.
  • The University reserves the rights not to fill / withdraw the post without giving any reason.
  • The applications are required on Prescribed Form in triplicate.
  • The scrutiny of the applications by the Scrutiny Committee shall be final and only eligible/ on merit/ short listed candidates shall be called for interview / informed.
  • Complete applications must reach in the Recruitment Cell, Registrar Office Government College University, Faisalabad by mail not later than 31-03-2021.
Note
  • Three percent (03 %) quota will be reserved for persons with disabilities as per direction of Government of the Punjab. If the candidate is disabled he/she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department. However, the persons with disabilities are exempted from the condition of demand draft.
  • Five percent (5%) quota is reserved for the minorities.
  • Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and short listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with policy / procedure laid down by the University.
  • Selected candidate(s) can be posted in any of the sub-campuses / institutes of the University as per need of the University.
  • The Institution reserves the right, for Teaching Assistants and Assistants, to increase or decrease the No. of positions.
  • Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
  • The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic Message.
  • No TA/DA would be admissible when called for interview.
