ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a qualified and experienced academic professional to join our team as Assistant Professor / Head of Medical Imaging Technology. This leadership role combines academic excellence with administrative responsibility, overseeing the department's operations, faculty, and student development while contributing actively to teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Medical Imaging Technology department.
• Teach undergraduate courses in the field.
• Supervise research projects and clinical training activities.
• Develop, review, and enhance curriculum as per HEC and regulatory body standards.
• Foster partnerships with clinical institutions for student placements.
• Ensure quality assurance, faculty development, and student mentoring.
• Contribute to the university's strategic goals through departmental planning and innovation.
• Participate in recruitment events, both on and off-campus, to engage with prospective students.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MS/MPhil in Medical Imaging Technology from an HEC recognized institute with minimum 4 years post MS/MPhil Medical Imaging Technology experience. .
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a PhD (or currently enrolled in a PhD program) with at least 3 years of proven administrative experience as Head of Department.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, academic planning, and research abilities.
