Placement Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Development, organisation and participation in the overseas placement promotional activities.
2. Liaising with overseas agents to facilitate the overseas applications process, keeping agents up to date on company developments, involvement in agent training, arranging for the payment of commission, etc.
3. Maintenance of overseas reference documents related to the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, and provision of advice and recommendations to enable staff and lecturers to correctly gauge the qualifications of prospective overseas jobs.
4. Providing comprehensive information on salary packages, allowances, taxes, accommodation, and travel to potential clients.
5. Providing professional support and advice on recruitment to line and departmental managers.
6. Advising managers on best practice recruitment and selection.
7. Preparing job descriptions and person specifications.
8. Writing job advertisements and deciding how and where jobs will be advertised.
9. Designing or revising application forms, including developing online processes.
10. Preparing other recruitment material depending on the type of organisation, for example, brochures and further particulars.
11. Developing creative recruitment solutions if the organisation is experiencing difficulties in attracting the appropriate level and quality of staff.
12. Screening application forms and shortlisting applicants.
13. Devising, running, and evaluating selection processes including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires, and various group activities.
14. Keeping up to date with current employment legislation and ensuring that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes.
15. Running selection centres for graduate recruitment and more senior vacancies.
16. Training staff in interviewing techniques and on the role of the assessor at a selection centre.
17. Developing plans to relocate staff to new departments and jobs due to restructuring within an organisation.

Requirements:

1. Master's Degree in Business Administration (HR).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and Recruitment.
3. Working exposure in an overseas placement agency.
4. Knowledge of overseas processes.
5. Excellent communication skills in English.
6. Good professional contacts in the IT industry.
