- Prospecting leads and contacting them to pitch the product/ service
- Setting up meetings with the prospective clients
- Presenting product/ service demonstrations to the client
- Establishing new business links
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and industry meet-ups for business development
- Sales reporting and reviewing performance
- Negotiating contracts to arrive at the best deal for the client and organization both
- Working towards achieving the sales target
- Conduct market research to evaluate gaps, opportunities, and alien needs
- Seek new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and social media channels
- Collaborate within teams to achieve better results
- Take feedback from customers and share it with support teams
- Product Knowledge:
Understanding the product or service being sold is fundamental to effectively communicate its value to potential customers.
- Sales Forecasting:
Being able to predict future sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly is vital for setting targets and managing resources.
- IT Skills:
Familiarity with various software and online tools used in sales, such as presentation software, is important for efficient work.
- Sales Process Mastery:
Understanding the stages of the sales cycle and how to effectively guide a customer through it is crucial.
- Communication Skills (Verbal and Written):
Clear and concise communication is essential for explaining product features, addressing customer concerns, and building rapport.
- Negotiation Skills:
