Detailed Job Description:

As a Project Manager supporting telecommunications operations in Pakistan via ZTE, you will take full operational ownership of end-to-end project execution from initial kick-off through to final client handover. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing comprehensive project plans, defining work breakdown structures, tracking deliverables against baseline schedules, and managing project budgets. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, procurement specialists, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless communication, resolve technical roadblocks, and manage scope changes. Furthermore, you will conduct regular project reviews, monitor quality checkpoints, and maintain meticulous project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver complex telecommunications and infrastructure projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, resource allocations, and financial budgets.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, milestone tracking, and deliverables across multi-site deployments.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering squads, subcontractors, and technical specialists to achieve project goals.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and scope creep throughout the execution phase.
• Facilitate regular client meetings, stakeholder communications, and status reporting sessions.
• Enforce strict adherence to ZTE quality standards, safety protocols, and technical specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, risk registers, and change request logs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 to 8+ years of professional project management experience within the telecommunications or IT industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
• Comprehensive practical knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK) and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities in English.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and contractor billing.
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work in Pakistan with availability for on-site project operations.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Advanced postgraduate degrees in Engineering Management or Project Management.
• Professional certifications including PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• Prior professional experience working within multinational telecommunications equipment vendors.
• Familiarity with 5G site rollouts, fiber optic installations, and core network migrations.
• Strong risk management and contract administration background.
