Job Description

Job timings: Mon - Fri 6 PM - 3 AM Pakistan time

Job Location: Islamabad I-9/3 (Onsite)

Experience : Over 5 years

Responsibilities:

  • Work on complex data-intensive projects.
  • Understand Python, Spark best practices, and commonly used modules based on experience, creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  • Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot software in user interface or service layers.
  • Participate in collaborative technical discussions focusing on software user experience, design, architecture, and development.
  • Keep up to date with technology and apply new knowledge.
  • Manage Github PRs and act as release manager for Data Engineering projects.
  • Document technical projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and help clear blockers.
  • Follow established coding standards.
Requirements

Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Reporting experience required (Jet, Power BI, or Tableau).
  • ETL experience and programming skills in Java or Python.

The candidate should have a development background in data engineering, experience working with onsite and offshore teams, and the ability to work independently, relying on experience, research, and judgment. An understanding of data archival strategies, strong problem-solving skills, quick learning ability, effective time management, and proven communication skills are essential.
