About the Role:
HFA Architects is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the development and management of BIM for our diverse portfolio of large-scale commercial projects. This position demands a strong technical aptitude, a thorough understanding of BIM principles, and exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Civil Engineering or a relevant Diploma in Civil Technology.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in BIM modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proficient in BIM software, with Revit being essential.
  • Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of building codes, drawing standards, and construction practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in modeling.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when project demands necessitate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed Building Information Models using Revit.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and coordinated models.
  • Generate project deliverables, including drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs, from the BIM model.
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and protocols.
  • Identify and resolve modeling issues and discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our BIM workflows and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM software advancements and industry best practices.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to team members.
