Job Description

The role involves leading the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. The candidate will perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance reporting, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and key business drivers.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial models to support business planning and investment decisions, overseeing the month-end closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and implementing strong internal controls and compliance procedures. The role also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial support on various projects and identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function. The candidate must be hands-on with FP&A and controlling responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, focusing on FP&A and controlling.
  • Proven experience in the retail, FMCG, or tech industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, ERP systems).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the food and grocery delivery industry and a strong work ethic.
