Require services of a career-oriented, high-caliber finance professional to join our team as Senior Manager Finance. The candidate should have multidimensional experience of up to 10 years in Strategy, Finance, and Operations, with exposure to a wide spectrum of functions and responsibilities, including key business processes, accounting and internal control systems, risk management procedures, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing monthly financial statements along with analyses on revenue and operating cost trends.
  • Reviewing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial and non-financial reports. Forecasting and budgeting company business activities and financial position with in-depth analysis in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Performing internal controls assessments in accordance with company policies and reporting thereof. Designing and documenting policies and procedures for cost centers. Identifying potential business risks and designing controls to mitigate such risks.
  • Managing daily funds position for collections and bank accounts, approving cash flow forecasts, and analyzing project funding needs from financing sources.
  • Reviewing contractual agreements to ensure the company's legal rights are properly established and safeguarded along with compliance with company policies.
  • Active involvement at the planning stage of the business, including forecasting product profitability and designing financial strategies.
  • Finalization and analysis of financial statements and monitoring significant ratios and trends to achieve overall business plans.
  • Implementing a cost-controlling system via standard costing and variance analysis, highlighting grey areas in operations.
  • Approaching and negotiating with financial institutions for various types of financing/settlement as per management policy.
  • Efficiently developing tax returns filing plans for the company and directors with consultation from the company's tax advisors.
  • Evaluating financial risks, preparing financial forecasts, scenarios, and other documents concerning capital management, writing reports, and recommendations.
  • Effectively managing all statutory returns filing requirements under Companies Ordinance 1984.
  • Establishing sound internal control systems to minimize misstatements in work and to govern the acquisition and disposition of financial instruments.
  • Preparing budgeted financial statements and cash flows for various investment proposals and selecting the most profitable opportunities in absolute terms.
Eligibility Criteria

The aspiring candidate needs to be a member of any national or international professional accounting body or have a Master of Business Administration. The candidate should have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in Capital Markets or any other financial institution or bank. The compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
