Social Media Marketing Specialist

Wordsmith is looking for a Social Media Strategist who is creative, driven and knows social media better than us to help us make our clients look their best and help them improve sales figures.

This position is HYBRID with 2 days work from our office in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi owing to our clients' presence.

Requirements

• At Least 2-3 years of trackable work experience in regards to social media and digital marketing. (If you don't have experience, but you can show us that you are the right candidate for this position, we will consider you.)
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing across all major social media platforms.
• The ability to design and execute social media communication strategies across multiple channels of communication.
• Creativity and originality is a must and should reflect in the work that you put out.
• Strong communication skills to engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor comments and feedback.
• The ability to create multiple audiences and allocate budgets accordingly for promoted content on meta and google ad platforms
• The ability to always be one step ahead of the competition by studying and observing their strategies closely.
• The ability to generate performance reports both manually and by using analytic tools such as Hootsuite etc.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Sounds knowledge of and execution on various ad platforms like Meta, Google etc.
• Must have good knowledge of SEO, content and communication design for social media purposes.
• Write engaging and attractive copies and provide a visual concept to go with it.

Responsibilities

• Constantly stay on top of any updates or new features rolled out by the major social media platforms and make use of these features to improve communication.
• Get clear client briefs.
• Translate client briefs into creative briefs for the design/production teams.
• Quality assure whatever goes out on social media for our clients
• Create compelling designs with help from the design team
• Create copy, caption, content and concepts for social media management.
• Research new online media developments and keep the team and results reflect these
• Allocate budgets for social media marketing in order to meet all required KPIs.
• Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
• Create engaging communication strategies to be implemented across various social media channels.
• Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer/client engagement.
• Monitor comments and queries across all social media platforms.
• Work with the clients for timely delivery of their deliverables

This job will be a challenge for you if you do not have…

• Either experience in a similar role (at least a year) or a really good grasp on everything social media.
• Strong operational skills and team management (creative teams live in their own world)
• The skill on how to extract the right information our of clients team/clients about their social media needs
• Strong communication skills to engage with clients.
• Cannot create instant content via insta, capcut or other similar apps for quick posting
• The ability to always be one step ahead. (or other equally important lessons from Sun Tzu)
• The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and anywhere in between.
