POSITION

InnoSoft Canada is seeking a technically skilled and client-focused professional to join our team in a key support and implementation role. This position is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of our Fusion + Fusion Family suite of recreation management software. You will play a critical role in installing software on client environments, executing seamless migrations to AWS cloud hosting, and managing authentication systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO) through tools like Keycloak.

As part of your responsibilities, you will troubleshoot complex technical issues, work closely with our development teams to resolve software bugs, and contribute to system performance tuning and optimization. In addition, you will help maintain our internal knowledge base and create client-facing documentation that empowers users to resolve common issues independently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The core responsibilities of the position include:

• Install Fusion software on client servers and configure for optimal performance.
• Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure during installation.
• Manage regular software updates, including security patches and feature enhancements.
• Troubleshoot installation and update issues to minimize client disruption.

Hosted Server Migrations (On-Premise to AWS Cloud):

• Assist in migrating Fusion software from on-premise to AWS Cloud hosting including server migrations, data transfers and testing.
• Help guide clients through migration processes to minimize downtime.
• Support clients with custom configurations or security settings needed in the cloud environment and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Assist with the configuration and management of clients' SSO (Single Sign-On) and authentication systems, primarily through Keycloak or other identity management tools for all products in the Fusion product suite.
• Ensure secure and seamless user authentication across client systems.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues and maintain compliance with security policies.
• Configure and manage MFA or advanced authentication mechanisms as required.

In-Depth Troubleshooting & Diagnosis:

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Fusion software, server environments and integrations.
• Use diagnostic tools and system logs to identify root causes of performance and connectivity issues.
• Replicate issues in test environments and provide effective solutions.
• Assist internal teams and stakeholders with Client infrastructure, integration and software performance issues including any questions related to the issue or its resolution.
• Work with developers to communicate and resolve software defects and customer issues.
• Assist in testing code fixes and new features before deployment.
• Ensure updates enhance functionality without introducing new issues.

Performance Tuning & Optimization:

• Analyze system performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Optimize system resources, databases, and software configurations.
• Provide recommendations to improve system performance and reduce downtime.

Knowledge Base & Documentation:

• Contribute to InnoSoft's knowledge base with troubleshooting steps and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of software limitations and solutions.
• Create client-facing support articles to facilitate self-service issue resolution.

On-Call & Maintenance Windows:

• Participate as Primary and Secondary on-call for system alerts and emergencies.
• Complete scheduled after hours maintenance windows for infrastructure updates and patching, as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support, system administration, or software deployment role—ideally in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience installing and configuring software on Windows-based server environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services, and knowledge of on-premise to cloud migration practices.
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools such as Keycloak, Active Directory, SAML, or OAuth.
• Strong understanding of SSO (Single Sign-On) configuration and authentication protocols.
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL Server preferred), including connectivity and performance troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working with API integrations, logs, and diagnostic tools to analyze and resolve issues.

Problem Solving & Communication:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience documenting processes, solutions, and technical knowledge for internal and external users.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent service and support to clients in a customer-facing role.
  

Other Assets (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience with recreation management or similar enterprise software systems.
• Familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA) implementation.
• Certifications related to AWS, Microsoft Server, or ITIL are considered a plus.
