Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer focused on edge and cloud data processing to join our team in Islamabad. Your role will be crucial in developing applications for the edge and cloud, utilizing point cloud data to empower smart cities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions.
  2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
  3. Collaborate with development teams for efficient software releases.
  4. Monitor and optimize system performance for high availability.
  5. Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  6. Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
  7. Conduct system audits and security assessments.
  8. Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends in DevOps and cloud tech.
  10. Collaborate to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  11. Create applications for edge and cloud platforms.
  12. Participate in designing features utilizing computer vision for digital twin tech.
  13. Analyze performance data to improve spatial data handling robustness.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  2. Experience in application development for cloud and edge.
  3. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  4. Experience with ROS and related methodologies.
  5. Proficiency in C++, Python, or similar languages.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. Team-oriented with collaborative skills.
  8. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  9. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  10. Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes.
  11. Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence.
  12. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK stack.
  13. Strong networking knowledge.
  14. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  15. Ability to work independently and in teams.
  16. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
