Job OverviewThe Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the restaurant and bus station areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities- Clears all used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to tubs in bus station and wipes tables, chairs, and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding tables.
- Resets tables according to established standards to seat new customers promptly. Removes full tubs from bus stations to the dishwashing area for cleaning and maintains a clean, well-stocked, and orderly bus station to improve efficiency.
- Retrieves cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dish room and distributes them to service stations for restaurant use.
- Sweeps restaurant floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
- Retrieves requisitioned items from the stockroom, ensures requisitions are complete and correct, and stocks supplies appropriately, rotating stock regularly.
- Assists waitstaff by refilling beverages and accommodating requests for condiments, additional food items, or clean tableware.
- Keeps ice stations filled by transporting ice from the main ice machine to individual stations.
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations preferred

- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs, including serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment, up to 75% of the time.
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and fingering throughout the shift.
- Mobility — full range of mobility and ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly during the shift.
- Continuous standing during preparation, service hours, or expediting.
- Ability to read meters and controls.
