We're looking for a Google Business Profile Optimization Expert to join our team and work with clients to ensure their business profiles are fully optimized for local search success.

Job Overview:

As a Google Business Profile Optimization Expert, your role is to assist businesses in enhancing their online presence on Google, particularly through the optimization of their Google Business Profiles (formerly Google My Business). You will collaborate with clients to implement strategies that improve their local search rankings, drive customer engagement, and increase conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Profile Optimization: Ensure clients' Google Business Profiles are fully optimized for accuracy, relevance, and completeness, including updating key business information (address, hours, website, contact details, etc.).
  2. Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies, including managing business descriptions, photos, services, and posts to improve visibility and user engagement.
  3. Local SEO Strategy: Conduct keyword research to ensure the business profiles are aligned with local search trends and target audience needs.
  4. Customer Reviews Management: Guide clients on the best practices for collecting and responding to customer reviews, improving the profile's credibility and trustworthiness.
  5. Insights & Reporting: Regularly track, analyze, and report on profile performance using Google Insights and other analytics tools to provide actionable recommendations.
  6. Technical Optimization: Ensure clients' business profiles are configured correctly to be compliant with Google's guidelines and to maximize visibility across search results and Google Maps.
  7. Training & Support: Provide ongoing support and training to clients on how to manage their profiles and leverage additional Google tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics).
  8. Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for further optimization and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in Google Business Profile optimization or local SEO.
  2. Strong understanding of local search algorithms, ranking factors, and Google's best practices.
  3. Experience using Google tools like Google Analytics, Google My Business, Google Search Console, and Google Insights.
  4. Familiarity with SEO software (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush) and the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and provide clear explanations of optimization strategies and results.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  7. Ability to stay up-to-date with Google's policies and local search updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification in Google My Business or other relevant Google tools.
  2. Experience with local paid advertising (Google Ads) and integration with Google Business Profiles.
  3. Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace.
