Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 (O365) services. The ideal candidate will assist in deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure and productivity tools, helping to maintain a secure, efficient, and modern workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and management of Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Support the design, setup, and maintenance of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Maintain and administer Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 (O365) services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
• Help manage user identities and access viaAzure AD and Hybrid Identity
• Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security using tools like Azure Monitor and Microsoft Defender.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident response for both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud-related roles.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services (IaaS/PaaS), particularly virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks.
• Familiarity withAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD) fundamentals and user profile management.
• Experience with Windows Server
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and basic configuration tasks (e.g., mailbox setup, Teams policies, SharePoint site permissions).
• Understanding of user identity and group management in Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications (e.g.,AZ-900, MD-102, AZ-104, or MS-900).
• Exposure to Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager for device management.
• Familiarity with security and compliance features in Azure and O365.
• Awareness of backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery principles in the cloud.
