Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to join our Cloud Operations Team and play a key role in maintaining the stability and security of our cloud infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related tickets, improving helpdesk processes, and implementing automation where possible. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve infrastructure-related helpdesk tickets to ensure smooth cloud operations.
• Maintain and provision highly available cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, and automation tools.
• Troubleshoot Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, Networking (vNET, VPN, NSG, Firewalls, DNS), and Backup Vaults.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize cloud configurations and security.
• Implement and improve automation for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and industry standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
• Document solutions, update the knowledge base, and continuously improve support workflows.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for writing, handling, and validating infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with Ansible, including writing and maintaining playbooks.
• Strong understanding of Azure and AWS services such as Virtual Machines, VPN, Backup Vault, NSG, Cognito and Automation Accounts.
• Experience with networking concepts in the cloud, including virtual networks, VPNs, proxies, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows, Active Directory, and cloud networking.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) and optimizing support workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including handling common security issues in an AWS/Azure/virtualized setting.
• Ability to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficiency.
• Experience with SQL Server, SMTP, and IIS configurations.
