Job Description:

We are hiring an enthusiastic Associate Node.js Developer with up to 6 months of experience to join our backend development team. You will support the development and maintenance of scalable server-side applications, APIs, and services using Node.js, working alongside senior developers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
  • Write clean, modular, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Help identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks under guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Support integration with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams, attending daily standups and sprint planning.
  • Use version control systems (Git) for code management.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation and deployment support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Up to 6 months experience in Node.js development.
  • Familiarity with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
  • Knowledge of working with databases (NoSQL or SQL).
  • Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a team.\
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular, etc.) is a plus.
