Job description:

Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Job Type: Contractual (12 Months)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise biomedical engineering team and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of new biomedical equipment and technologies
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to identify and meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, including FDA and ISO requirements
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and quality assurance programs
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for equipment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in biomedical engineering in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and standards for medical devices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective quality control processes
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to biomedical equipment and devices.
