Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications on the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance user experience and drive business goals.

Location: 6th Road, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Android app development

Salary: 150K to 300K per month (based on expertise)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless mobile experiences Integrate APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability
  • Conduct unit tests and code reviews to maintain high code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proficient in Kotlin
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, or Clean Architecture
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps
  • Experience in publishing apps to the Google Play Store
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
