We are undertaking a Data Transformation initiative, and as data becomes fundamental to our operations, the ability to have the right data in the right place at the right time—accurate and consistent—is essential.

This role will play a crucial central role within this evolving landscape, working alongside the Technology Team and the Product Owner to facilitate effective data delivery to the business. You will collaborate with Product Management, the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Stakeholders, and assist by listening to the business and challenging the Product Owner for continuous process improvement within the Technology area.

You must be competent in communicating with both the Business and technical teams to capture requirements for new data and solutions, translating them into technical specifications for the technology team to develop, test, integrate, and document.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage with relevant business Financial Directors and Stakeholders to understand business logic and translate this into requirements for the technical team.
  2. Translate simple business logic into technical requirements for the Technology teams.
  3. Work closely with business stakeholders and Solution Architects to deliver requirements that inform the solution and test strategies.
  4. Assist the Sprint Manager in grooming and managing the team backlog as user stories, with input from system architects/engineers and stakeholders.
  5. Liaise with sprint managers and QA leads to ensure efficient delivery aligned with business expectations.
  6. Proactively drive process improvements across the Business-facing side of the Technology Team.
  7. Share knowledge across the wider business, collaborating with other BAs and technology teams to document processes and ways of working.
  8. Communicate clearly and concisely with the business regarding the status of items and blockers.
  9. Possess end-to-end knowledge of the data landscape to influence future technological decisions.
Requirements
  1. Proven track record in business analysis within a technical environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of LDW and Data Lake architecture.
  3. Experience in high-priority data projects.
  4. Expertise in problem breakdown and clear documentation for stakeholder understanding and prioritization.
  5. Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues, including development teams and BAs.
  6. Experience working in an agile environment within a fast-paced organization.
  7. Understanding of Lean methodologies; experience with SAFE teams is advantageous.
  8. Experience with big data projects.
  9. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different contexts.
  10. Highly technical with a keen eye for detail.
  11. Self-motivated, results-oriented, confident, and able to challenge when necessary.
  12. Structured, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  13. Hands-on mentality.
  14. Certified Product Owner (from Scrum.org or Scrum Alliance).
  15. SAFe Product Owner or SAFe Maagilist certification.
  16. Experience in the Telco domain.
