About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in NestJS and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to join our client's growing engineering team. This is an onsite, night shift role based in Lahore, offering an excellent opportunity to work with international clients on challenging backend projects.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS
  • Write optimized SQL queries and manage databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver complete solutions
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • 3–5 years of professional backend development experience
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL (database design, indexing, joins, query optimization)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and backend architecture
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and containerized environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Important Notes:
  • This is a night shift position (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time)
  • Onsite presence is mandatory; remote work is not available
