Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan NETSOL Technologies Inc. Full time

In addition to basic familiarity with IT and SDLC, as NETSOL system deals in leasing, financing, and generates accounting entries, knowledge of Accounting, Leasing, and Calculations is essential, including present value calculations, compounding/discounting of interest, and IRR.

Candidate qualifications should include:

  • Majors in Finance
  • Other accounting-related certifications, such as CFA program, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Gathering and Analysis

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business, accounting, and calculation needs, objectives, and requirements. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for system development and process improvement.

Data Analysis

Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, or insights for business decisions.

  • Mapping and improving current business processes and workflows using MS Office and MS Visio.
  • Assessing accounting requirements and suggesting workarounds in accounting entries for system enhancement.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, and recommending solutions to streamline operations.
Evaluation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate potential solutions.
  • Participate in solution design sessions, providing input and feedback based on business and accounting needs.
  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements before implementation.
Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing activities.
Management

Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels through effective communication to ensure alignment on requirements.

Review and Documentation
  • Maintain documentation such as business requirements documents, user stories, business process diagrams in Visio, and review functional specifications, user manuals, and prototypes.
  • Prepare calculation sheets for rental calculations and income/expense amortizations considering IRR factors.
