Manager MEP Operations and Projects

Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. (On-Site)

About the role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Specialist/Expert to oversee the design, execution and operation & maintenance of MEP systems across corporate offices and partly for data centers. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of MEP systems, hands-on experience with their implementation and FM operations with sound understanding of design principles, industry codes and sustainability guidelines.

Your Impactful Goals will include:

• Uptime of critical MEP systems
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Operational efficiency & cost optimization
• Vendor performance management
• MEP projects lifecycle management (design, execution and commissioning)
• Technical documentation & knowledge transfer

Your Typical Day will look like:

• Lead the operation and maintenance of all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water management, STP, fire safety system and BMS of corporate offices by ensuring uninterrupted services and system reliability.
• Monitoring of facilities management onsite vendor resources to ensure implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
• Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supervise facilities management vendors to ensure compliance of agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for any failures or inefficiencies in MEP systems and prepare plans for its improvement.
• Maintain records, logs and documentation related to operation and maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, system optimization, cost savings and lead the implementation of approved initiatives.
• Coordinate with consultants and vendors during the design, execution and commissioning phases of MEP systems for new projects
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, etc.) and local authority regulations.
• Review and contribute to MEP system designs during project planning stages, ensuring functionality, maintainability and energy efficiency for new office developments and refurbishments.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control of MEP works.
• Ensure all systems comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

What we're looking for:

Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Work experience: Minimum 8 Years of Experience Certifications (Any HSE and industry certifications will be considered an added advantage)

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

• MEP expert who has in-depth knowledge of HVAC, Water management, Plumbing, STP, BMS, Generator and Fire safety systems.
