Corrigendum (Extension in Last Date)

This is with reference to the advertisements for (Contract Based) vacant teaching and non-teaching positions for Chiniot Campus and Institute of Art and Sciences Hafizabad Sub-Campus Government College University Faisalabad in the leading national newspapers of Pakistan dated 29-10-2019, 02-11-2019, and 06-11-2019. The following shall be considered as part & parcel of the said advertisements:

• The last date for submission of applications is 02-12-2019.
• The applicants who have already submitted their applications are not required to apply again.
• Rest of the terms and conditions shall remain the same.
  
  

Applications are invited for project-based teaching positions (initially for a period of three years) at Institute of Art and Sciences Hafizabad (Sub-Campus of Government College University, Faisalabad) from Pakistani nationals under Higher Education Commission funded project with given pay scale plus usual allowance as permissible under the rules and on pay package as per HEC Policy. The candidates must meet the prescribed qualification/experience as per details given below:

Business Administration = 01
English Literature = 01
Mathematics = 01
Commerce = 01
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 30-45 Years
Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant subject

Business Administration = 02
English Literature = 02
Mathematics = 02
Commerce = 02
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Qualification: M.Phil/MS or equivalent (18 years) or Master's Degree from a foreign university in the relevant subject

• The latest prescribed application & bio-data form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and should be submitted in the Recruitment Cell, with demand draft in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad (as processing fee non-refundable).

• Assistant Professor BPS-19: Rs. 2500/-
• Lecturer (BPS-18): Rs. 2000/-
• Candidates applying from abroad: US $50/-

The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on the prescribed application form, available on the University website, accompanied by a bank draft of US $50/- in favour of Treasurer Government College University, Faisalabad and attested copies of all necessary testimonials, ID card, recent photograph, updated CV on the given address.

• Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
• Candidates are required to submit three (03) sets of duly filled application forms supported with attested copies of degrees, result cards, ID card, three recent photographs, updated CV, transcripts, certificates along with research publications. In case the degree has not been issued, a certificate to that effect signed by the Controller of Examinations might be accepted. In all cases, the statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
• Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate job application forms with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
• The University reserves the right not to consider any application or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.
• The candidate already in service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
• Candidates must attach HEC Equivalence Certificate(s), where applicable; otherwise their applications would not be entertained/considered.
• The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be final, and only on merit candidates will be called for interview/informed.
• The recommended candidates will have no right to claim, whatsoever, to convert their contractual service into the regular/permanent one.
• Applications complete in all respects must reach, during office hours, in the Recruitment Cell, Registrar Office Government College University, Faisalabad within 15 days from the publication of this advertisement.
  
  

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and shortlisting of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University.
• Condition of age can be relaxed as per the policy of the University.
• The Institution reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions.
• The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic message.
