We are embarking on a data transformation journey where accurate and consistent data plays a vital role. This central role will work alongside the Technology Team and Product Owner to orchestrate the delivery of data to the business, ensuring it is in the right place at the right time.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Management, Scrum Master, and Business Stakeholders, to capture requirements for new data and solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams is crucial in translating these requirements into technical solutions that can be developed, tested, integrated, and documented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Financial Directors and Business Stakeholders to understand business logic and translate it into technical requirements.
  • Translate simple business logic into technical requirements for the Technology teams.
  • Deliver requirements that inform the solution and test strategy through collaboration with Solution Architects and stakeholders.
  • Assist Sprint Manager in grooming the team backlog and managing user stories with input from system architects/engineering and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with sprint managers and QA leads to ensure efficient delivery in line with business expectations.
  • Drive process improvement across the Business facing side of the Technology Team.
  • Share knowledge with the wider business and contribute to documenting processes and ways of working.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with the business on the status of items and blockers.
  • Maintain end-to-end knowledge of the data landscape and shape future technological decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record of business analysis within a technical environment.
  • Excellent understanding of LDW and Data Lake architecture.
  • Experience working in high-priority data projects.
  • Able to break down complex problems/issues, document clearly, and prioritize tasks for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders, including development teams and BA's.
  • Effectively work in an agile environment and adapt to a fast-paced organization.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and design processes accordingly.
  • Understanding and experience working in big data projects.
  • Versatility in communication and ability to adjust the narrative based on context.
  • Highly technical with attention to detail.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Confident and able to challenge when necessary.
  • Structured and organized approach to work.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-cultural team and collaborate with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to multitask, plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • A hands-on mentality is essential.
