Cybersecurity Strategist

About the Job

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the organization's information security efforts.

• Develops and implements security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's information assets.
• Manages and maintains key information security functions, including risk management, mitigation, and incident response.
• Cybersecurity awareness and training programs are critical components of this role.
• Collaborates with senior management and board members to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize threats.

Responsibilities

• Ensures regulatory compliance and oversees the implementation of security technologies.
• Manages and maintains key information security functions, including incident response and crisis management.
• Develops and delivers cybersecurity awareness training programs.

Skill Set and/or Expertise/Experience

• Has expertise in security management tools and techniques for security/risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with senior management and board members.
