As a Senior Measurement Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of Orifice metering setups installed throughout the region.

The role involves undertaking necessary measures for preventive and breakdown maintenance of Orifice Metering and associated flow computers to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

  • Monthly data downloading activities from all flow computers in the region will be undertaken for billing purposes to Distribution.
  • You will ensure that orifice metering systems at Sales Metering Stations, Check Metering Stations, and PODs are accurately measuring gas volumes.
  • Proper interfacing of Gas Chromatography system (if installed) with Flow Computer is essential for determination of gas energy delivered/received.
  • Review and analysis of monthly gas metering data will be conducted to ensure its correctness and reliability.
  • You will undertake calibration and verification of instruments at all metering stations to ensure accuracy of the metering station.
  • Installation and commissioning of Orifice metering systems and/or upgrading of existing setup as per operational requirement will be carried out.
  • Joint Meter Check activity with the Distribution department will be performed in a timely manner for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations in the region.
  • A periodic assessment of available operationally required spares and materials will be done in conjunction with the Planning & Procurement team to ensure necessary spares and equipment are arranged for smooth execution of measurement-related activities at gas measuring stations.
  • Duly filled, signed, and documentation record of field activity/maintenance activity reports will be maintained.
  • You will ensure implementation of HSE guidelines during field activities for safety of personnel and facility.
