Student Guidance Role

Job Overview: A Student Guidance Counselor is sought to provide expert support and guidance to prospective and enrolled students. This role entails helping students make informed decisions about their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one counselling sessions addressing academic, career, and personal concerns.
  • Assist students with the admission process by explaining requirements, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Help students explore and select suitable academic programs based on their interests and goals.
  • Guide students through the application process ensuring all necessary documents are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Conduct meetings with prospective students to assess their aspirations and suitability for our programs.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential student records documenting interactions and progress.
  • Connect students with relevant academic resources tutoring services and career development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of university and college curriculum requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic student record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with student information systems and databases.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Important Note: At least 1-2 years of experience required.
