Assistant Professor Role

We are seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Assistant Professor, who can contribute to our academic excellence and research initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and participating in service activities.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Computing with expertise in one or more areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Mining, Computer Networks, Software Design and Architecture, Formal Methods, HCI, Operating Systems, Compiler Construction, Computer Graphics, AR/VR, Simulation and Modeling, Distributed Computing, Multi-Agent Systems, Game Theory, Game Design & Programming, and Quantum Computing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in one of the fields listed above from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Publisherships and experience as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

Benefits:

  • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their academic/professional documents.
  • The last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Others:

  • Candidates with 3rd Division in academic career or weak academic profile are not eligible.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or without an NOC from the Head of Institution are not eligible.
  • Candidates in the process of pursuing a required degree are not eligible.
  • Medically unfit candidates are not eligible.
  • Late or incomplete applications will be ignored.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews; no TA/DA will be provided.
