Job Purpose:

The Community Mobilizer will play a critical role in promoting our organization's services among marginalized and vulnerable Afghan refugee communities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community development principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community mobilization strategies to promote our services
  • Conduct community assessments to identify needs and priorities
  • Build partnerships with local stakeholders to enhance service delivery
  • Organize community meetings, workshops, and awareness-raising sessions
  • Mobilize refugees' communities towards program activities
  • Collaborate with government agencies and NGOs to ensure access to services
  • Maintain accurate records of community mobilization activities

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Three years of community mobilization experience, preferably with displaced Afghan nationals.
