Job Title: Audit Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced audit professional to join our team. As an Audit Associate, you will play a key role in providing expert support in auditing and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Matching, coding and processing of purchase/sales invoices, ensuring debtor balances are kept within target, customer accounts are periodically reconciled, and AR balances are reconciled to control accounts.
  • Reporting: Producing daily and weekly reporting, preparing monthly management accounts, and leading the monthly review on balance sheet.
  • System Implementations, Compliance & Training: Hands-on experience in implementing accounting systems, training junior colleagues, assisting accountants in preparation and filing of external reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of the financial reporting process.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with minimum of 1+ years' experience.
  • Able to provide end-to-end-support to clients without assistance from accountants.
  • Demonstrable experience of implementation of accounting systems, financial and management accounting, and controls.
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel skills, strong organizational skills, accurate with a high level of attention to detail, demonstrable experience of self-management, ability to manage out workload and priorities tasks to meet deadlines, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships, and a confident communicator.
