Compliance Officer

MBA preferred in Supply Chain or related field from an accredited university with at least 4 years of experience.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent is a plus.

PPRA rules and regulations are mandatory for this role.

Job Description:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with PPRA Rules & Regulations and procurement policies within the procurement department. This role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance framework, monitors procurement compliance, promotes ethical practices, and safeguards the integrity of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular compliance assessments to evaluate procurement processes, activities, and documentation for adherence to PPRA rules and procurement policies.
  2. Review and analyze procurement records, contracts, and related documents to identify potential compliance risks and issues.
  3. Develop and implement compliance monitoring mechanisms, including audits and reviews.
  4. Collaborate with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  5. Monitor compliance metrics and KPIs to report on compliance status.
  6. Provide training to procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in PPRA rules, regulations, and procurement policies, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  9. Promote ethical standards and foster a culture of ethics within the procurement department.
  10. Work with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  11. Address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and resolve compliance issues in a timely manner.
  12. Ensure compliance with the risk management framework and participate in risk management activities.
  13. Identify, report, and manage key risks promptly.
  14. Receive training in risk management.
