Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

This is a critical role in our organization, responsible for the efficient management of supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining procurement records, coordinating vendor rates and conducting market surveys, negotiating with external vendors for favorable terms, managing supply chain operations, supporting organizational activities, authorizing purchases and services, finalizing order details and deliveries, evaluating and revising existing contracts, leading operational functions and providing departmental support, ensuring quality and cost control measures, and providing specialized assistance to other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough market surveys to identify potential vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
  3. Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  4. Support organizational activities such as meetings and events, and provide logistical support as needed.
  5. Authorize purchases and services, and ensure that all transactions are properly documented and recorded.
  6. Finalize order details and deliveries, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted.
  7. Evaluate and revise existing contracts to ensure they remain beneficial to the organization.
  8. Lead operational functions, and provide departmental support as needed.
  9. Ensure quality and cost control measures are implemented throughout the supply chain.
  10. Provide specialized assistance to other departments as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
