This job seeks a skilled professional to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive compliance framework within the procurement department. The role involves ensuring adherence to PPRA rules and SSGCL policies, promoting ethical practices, and safeguarding procurement integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting thorough assessments of procurement processes and activities to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Reviewing procurement records, contracts, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Developing and implementing monitoring mechanisms, including audits and reviews, to mitigate potential risks.
  4. Collaborating with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in PPRA rules and SSGCL policies and communicating updates as necessary.
  6. Providing training and guidance to procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  7. Preparing regular compliance reports and metrics to track progress.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to think critically, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
