Financial Management Professional

To excel in this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager Finance in performing a range of financial management functions. These include project and service costing, long-term projection and estimation, annual budgeting, short-term and quarterly forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project and Service Costing: Develop and maintain accurate costing models to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Long-term Projection and Estimation: Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future financial outcomes.
  • Annual Budgeting: Collaborate with the Manager Finance to develop and implement comprehensive budgets.
  • Short-term and Quarterly Forecasting: Provide timely and accurate financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Cost-benefit Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to identify areas of improvement and optimize resource allocation.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of financial management strategies and recommend improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, business, and negotiating skills. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, Peach Tree, and other relevant accounting information systems is essential. A positive and ethical workplace attitude, along with good report writing skills, is also required.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: CA-Intermediate or Foundation completed, and article-ship from a reputable Chartered Accountancy Firm.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or management accounting functions in the corporate sector, with at least three years in a similar role.
